Harry is a regular day patient who has been having fortnightly infusions at Hervey Bay Hospital for nearly 12 months.
During the past year Harry’s goal was to be as healthy as possible for his 90th birthday.
It was a milestone he reached this month and our teams did not miss the opportunity to celebrate!
The ward was decorated with balloons, a banner and a 90th Birthday pin for the Birthday Boy.
Sweet and savoury treats were shared, and Harry’s daughter Sharon enjoyed a piece of chocolate birthday cake.
Integrated Care Services NUM Dot Nicholson said the party was a highlight of Harry and the whole team’s day.
