Group of healthcare workers holding award certificates
Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service Australia Day Values in Action Award recipients were recognised for their extraordinary contributions enhancing care, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving excellence.

Our Board, Executive and staff have had the pleasure of coming together across the region to celebrate our Australia Day Values in Action Award recipients - one of the most meaningful moments in our staff recognition calendar.

These awards recognise WBHHS staff who consistently bring our values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (CARE) to life, and who approach their work through patients’ eyes. Each recipient was nominated by a manager, peer or colleague, demonstrating the respect and appreciation they have earned from those they work alongside every day.

What stood out during the ceremonies was not only the incredible achievements being recognised, but the everyday actions behind them, and a genuine commitment to putting people first. Together, our award recipients represent what it means to work at WBHHS.
